What was difficult?

In English class.- Actually almost everything was difficult for me. I never used english to comunicate with other people before. It was fun too, but at first I had to accustomed to using english easily.

In Life.University is not easy. I had a lot of dreams about school days. But when I came here at first 'Oh my god!' too much things to do, too much things to know, no much time to play. Actually it was hard for me to come to school for me at first.

What was easy for me?

In English class.It was easy to understand what the teacher said. Not only the sentense was easy but also I think the movies which I saw when I was young helped me a lot.

In Life.It was easy to make a good friend. I came from busan, so I have no friends in seoul. I was worried about it but in our school, there are so many good friends. So it was not difficult for me to find a good friend.

What did I learn?

In English class.I learnd English. It's true this is a stupid sentens but I think I really learnd English well. I learnd the grammer, voca when I was in highschool. But in Uni I learnd how to use it. Still I'm not good in English, but at least I start to use English more smoothly. I satisfy at this.

In Life. I learnd how to use money effeciently. When I lived with my mom and dad I didn;t need to think about how much money I used and how much can I use more. But now I have to consider about this very carefully. I try to buy cheaper one and don't buy what I don't need .

What do I need to improve?

In English class. Voca and grammer. To say more smooth sentens I need to study them and have to practice a lot. I want to talk with forigners well. So I have to study hard!

In Life.I have to study more. As the weather got hotter I say 'I want to go out!!' But to make my life better in the future, I have to study!!

What was easy for me?
In English class.
Actually there was nothing especially easy this time. It was similar with april. I think may be I didn't try hard to be better.
In life. It was easy to call to my parents. LThat is true. It's not right to say it was easy or not. But I had more time than last month to call my parents.

What was difficult?
In English class.
Every time this is the problem. I don't know much voca. So I have trouble in explaining something. Especially reaging graphs, I think I have to know more expressions.
In Life.
I have problem in studying. These days I am too happy. So every time I want to play with friends or sister. I have to srudy!

What did I learn?
In English class.
I learned how to speak with people in english. 3 times a week I use english and this makes me speaking english more comfortable. I remember that I write this story last time too, but this is what I have learned the best since I came to this class.
In Life.
I got a lesson 'I have to help my grandmother.'
These days my grand mother is skicker. I said 'I am helping my grandma.' but actually I did noting. from now I will help my grandma as much as I can.
What do I need to improve?
In English class.
I have to study more voca and improve my pronunciation.
In Life.
I will go eurepe this summer. So I have study speaking English plus the culture of other country.

This rate decreased a little.
In 2002, it was 0.6 billions.
It had a small growth in 2003.
In 2003, it was 0.8 billions.
The reason of the decrease is the 9.11 terror. After that happen people in US couldn't attention th health beauty as much as they did in past. But as time went the people gradually forgot this and at 2003, a popular movie star told about the health beauty and recommend to take care of their health beauty, so the rate went up again.
We can predict that this rate will increase more if there is nothing happens (like terror or disaster) because the movie star is getting more famouse and more women want to be like her.

Nancy Lang wore red Victoria’s Secret lingerie and white Kabuki makeup while played the violin out of tune.
She wore red Victoria’s Secret lingerie to let other people know that she is showing all of her things. And she wore red to be remarkable. She wanted to make art easy and friendly to people so wearing lingerie means that she is trying to show all about her and her art.
And she wore white Kabuki makeup. This is a makeup which covers all face. She wanted to hide her face to let the people know that she has some secrets in her life, not want to tell to other.
She played the violin out of tune. This means that art can be felt differently to each people because she was playing correctly but all of the people heard it strange and each of them thought as a different sound.
She wanted to show that art is not far from ordinary people and there is no right feeling or answer in art. She has a heard time but she is trying to show what she has.

What was easy for me?
In English class.
Talking with my group members got a little easier. I am not good at english stil but I think I am accustomed to speaking english more than 2 month ago.

In Life.
Riding bus and subway got easy. At first when I came to Seoul it was difficult to choose the right bus or subway. But now I have no problem.(I don't now, if I have to go to some place, where I have not went before. May be It wil be difficult.)

It is difficult to write a good santance in english beacause of my short english ability. I make too many mistakes in writing and speaking in english.

In Life.

I had a problem in choosing school group. The are so many other groups in school, english free talking, volunteering, broadcasting and so on.

I tried to choose a suitable group and applied in some groups. Two was fail, but the volunteering group picked me. so I am a member of voluteering group now.

What did I learn?

I think you should get a new job which can satisfy your achievement and also give much time to send with your family. Or do harder in weekday and spend your weekend with your family. 4. The movie describes the Americans are great people. The Americans in the movie are very brave, scrappy and industrious. They don't give up and stand up to the mighty aliens and save the world.

5. Compared with Deep Impact and Armageddon, Independence day don't describe relation between people. Those movies give values to plot, characters and computer graphics. But Independence day shows brilliant computer graphic only. The characters and plot are very monotonous and simple. Spectators wonder fantastic graphics first, but they don't touched by movie and forget the movie as they go out the theater.

because the reviewer said that ‘Independence Day’ has the same concept with other movies, but just because of the great casting and timing the movie got popular. So this mean that ‘Independence Day’ is not a valuable movie.

7. The movie was successful not because of the story but because the movie cast recognizable big stars, spent much money and uses spectacular special effects. Also the timing was good.

She is very popular actress in Hollywood and many women's object of envy. But she doesn't rest on her laurel. She works for poor people all around the world, and campaigned human rights. So, when I saw her good deed through the Internet, I was so impressed. Her works inspired me that I want to volunteer in poor country like her, but I didn't have a chance for it. Fortunately, I seize the opportunity in this month. When I entered Sookmyung Women's University, the volunteer activity club 'Sookmyung Rotaract' attracted me, because it has worked abroad volunteer activity annually. Mitch Albom is a writer. At first he was a sport columnist. Each year his sports columns were entered in the 'associated press' Sports Editors contest and between 1991 and 2000 he won first prize in feature story writing seven times.
He wrote many books, and three of them are very popular. The first is ‘Tuesdays with Morrie’, the second is ‘the five people you meet in heaven’ and the third book is ‘For one more day’. I read all of these, but the most touching story was ‘For one more day’. This book is about a son who gets to spend just one day with his mother who died eight years earlier.
The day when I read that was my last week in Busan because I had to come to Seoul. For that reason, I was very depressed that day, and just worried about my new school life. But after I read the story I realized that there are so many people who I have to say thank you. I had just one week to spend with my family and friends. So I renewed my mind and tried to meet more people and to spend good time with them instead of being lonely. Thanks to that book, the last week in Busan I was very happy. This is the reason why I pick this book and the writer, Mitch Albom.

I was influenced by my older sister. She is three years older than me.
She is very kind and bight person, so lots of people like her. Also she makes other people happy.
But I am a little unkind and do things which makes people angry. Exspecially my parents.
When I want to have a good time with people, these bad habits are obstacles.
Maybe I am thinking too dramatic that she is kind and I am bad. But seeing her makes me feel like that. So I have wanted to be like her and actually I got much better than few years ago.
Just because of her being beside me I'm getting kinder.

5.I think that Nobel Peace Prize awards to someone who contribute to world's peace. She made effort to democratization which gave freedom to Burmese. In addition she protest against junta government with peaceful. And world's peace is made of each country's peace. So I agree that she won the Nobel Peace Prize.

6.I agree with Aung San Suu Chi.
Jun Ta didn’t want to lose their power but there were problems to maintain it. So they use power in a bad way to protect it, but at final they corrupted.
Like this, if someone got fear about something, he(or she) will do everything to overcome it and protect what he want. He will not mind if the way is good or not. In this way if he does too many wrong things he will corrupt.
As Aung San Suu chi said, power is not the problem. If someone has confidence in his work, he won’t do bad things to get something.
Because of his fear, power is used in a bad purpose.

7.She is now place under a house arrest. So the situation is very bad. But I think she will always think of her country’s peace with hopeful mind instead of feel gloomy.
Also she has a very strong willpower maybe she will try to protect her belief even if she has to give up something personal, as she chose to being separated with her son few years ago.
And one more, she was not a good mother for her son but she will miss him very much and maybe she feels sorry about him.

What was easy for me?
In English class.
It is easy to join the English class. Because my professor is very good and my class mate do all activities with fun. So I can adapt to the class very easy.

In Life.
It is easy to live in Seoul. Of course in Korea, everywhere is similar, but when I came to Seoul from Busan, few days ago, I was worried very much.
But my sister and grandmother take care of me very good, and my new friends are so kind to me. So I’m very comfortable now.

What was difficult?
In English class.
It is difficult to follow the class. I don’t mean I can’t understand what the professor says, but I am confusing to make a blog, a new mail address and so on. Of course it will be easy to use when it gets accustomed. But now I have to make lots of things in a short time, and this is not easy for me.
I hope it is not only my problem. Because I not a computer illiteracy.

In Life.
University life is still difficult to me a little. Because it is different from the high school one. I have to find all what I have to do, what I need by myself. There is no homeroom teacher, so I have to run around the school if I have a question. And also each class has different classroom, so every time I have to find where the classroom is. It will be much easier when time goes. But now it is hard to find the classroom in 10minutes, the resttime.

Actually I haven’t had many chances to talk or spend time with foreigners. But now my professor is a Canadian. So I can learn the correct pronunciation and the right time to use a word.

In Life.
I always learn many things in life. These days I learn how to spend time correctly. Actually when I came to University at first, I wanted to go shopping, watch movies or go out for lunch every day. But I realized that in university there are lots of things to study and my friends do very hard. So I decide to study hard too and also I will go to town to have fun.
I’m now learning how I should spend time to satisfy both of these.

I am very bad at English grammars. So I Should try to speak with right grammar.
And also I don’t know much English expressions. To improve this, I need to listen carefully what my professor says.

In Life.
I need to improve my willpower. I am a little weak, so when the turning point of season comes, I easily get cold and have allergy. Because of this I can not concentrate on studying or reading book. But I think if I try to overcome it, I can do it. So I have to overcome the weakness of mind.
